Login issue checklist
Check account status and credentials before changing permissions.
- Confirm the user is using the correct login email or username.
- Confirm the user account exists and is active.
- Reset password if the user forgot it.
- Ask the user to try logging in again.
- If login works but modules are missing, check role and staff linkage.
Module access issue
If a user can log in but cannot use a module, the role or assignment is usually the issue.
Tips
- Teachers may need class or subject assignments.
- Finance users need the accountant or approved finance role.
- Admins should avoid giving full access to users who only need one workflow.
