Why academic year matters
Most work in Akshara SIP is academic-year aware. Student enrollment, attendance, exams, fee structures, and reports depend on the selected academic year.
How to choose the year
Use the academic year selector in the top bar before opening operational screens.
- Look at the top navigation bar.
- Open the academic year selector.
- Choose the year you want to work in.
- Confirm the screen reloads or reflects the selected year.
- Continue with admissions, attendance, fees, or exams only after confirming the selected year.
Common mistakes
If data appears missing, the selected academic year is usually the first thing to check.
Tips
- A student admitted in one academic year may not appear in another year unless transferred or enrolled.
- Attendance reports are date and academic-year sensitive.
- Fee structures should match the academic year used for billing.
